Aker BP has awarded FPE Sontum an EPC Frame Agreement for Active Fire Protection Management services to all Aker BP installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The contract is for 5 years with options for 2 x 3 years. The contract is in effect from 01.02.2020.

FPE Sontum is a part of the Align Group. The head office for FPE Sontum is in Stavanger, with a branch office in Bergen.

The company is a global manufacturer of high-tech fire safety equipment, as well as NCS’s largest service and maintenance provider within fire & safety. FPE Sontum’ s contract portfolio, covering more than 90% of the North Sea installations is reinforced with the signing of this contract.

On 12th February it was announced that Align Fire & Safety will become part of Moreld. Moreld is a large new industrial group based on 20 of HitecVision’s portfolio companies. Moreld serves customers within the energy industry, marine, aquaculture and other industries. Moreld has a total of 3600 employees, with 2019 revenues of 8.8 billion NOK.
