Equinor has awarded a 3-year extension of the framework agreement with FPE Sontum for the supply of fire and safety equipment and services on all Equinor installations on the Norwegian continental shelf. This is the first of two extensions for this contract which was signed in 2015. The extension comes into effect from 01.07.2020.

FPE Sontum is part of the Align Group and a global manufacturer of high-tech fire safety equipment. FPE Sontum is the Norwegian continental shelf’s largest service and maintenance supplier within fire and safety equipment. The company’s contract portfolio covers more than 90% of the installations in the North Sea.

On 12th February it was announced that Align Fire & Safety will become part of Moreld. Moreld is a large new industrial group based on 20 of HitecVision’s portfolio companies. Moreld serves customers within the energy industry, marine, aquaculture and other industries. Moreld has a total of 3600 employees, with 2019 revenues of 8.8 billion NOK.
