FPE Sontum AS is awarded contract on the Johan Sverdrup project, Phase II

FPE Sontum AS is awarded a framework agreement for the delivery of fire extinguishing systems to Johan Sverdrup Phase II. The contract includes project management, design, procurement, assembly, and testing.

The work will take place at FPE Sontum’s offices and workshop at Forus in Stavanger. FPE Sontum AS also supplied fire extinguishing systems to Johan Sverdup Phase I.

“This is another statement of trust from Equinor,” said CEO Yngve Solvang.

“This is a sign of the positive development in the market. There are significantly more project opportunities now than before, both in Norway and globally, which this agreement helps to emphasize.”

Johan Sverdrup field center (Phase I and II) will when completed consist of a total of five
platforms and a location on Utsirahøyden in the North Sea, 160 kilometers west of Stavanger.

Partners in Johan Sverdrup: Equinor 40,0267 % (operator), Lundin Norway 22.6 %, Petoro 17.36 %
AkerBP 11.5733 % and Total 8.44 %
