What do you learn on the continuation course in first aid?
The course provides participants with the fundamental knowledge necessary to provide effective and appropriate first aid in the event of an accident.
Contents:
- Notifying the emergency services (1-1-2)
- Working at the scene of the accident
- Examining the patient
- Assessing injuries
- Unconsciousness and recovery position
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Foreign object in the airways
- Circulatory failure
- Traumatology
- Wounds and bleeding
- Broken bones
- Chest and stomach injuries
- Head, neck and back injuries
- Frostbite
- Burns
- Heart disease
- Stroke (CVA)
- Low blood sugar
- Breathing difficulties, asthma and allergies
- Intoxication
- Poisoning and chemical injuries
- Pathology
Course Length: 4 hours

Our instructors are multi-skilled and have years of experience in first aid and life-saving measures from the fire and/or ambulance service. They also have extensive experience as first aid instructors
